A passionate Texas Country artist and performer, Andrea has delighted audiences all across the lone star state. From Central and East Texas, to the Gulf Coast, as well as entertaining folks as far away as Las Vegas, Nevada, and Franklin, Tennessee.
She has developed a smooth and creamy lyrical style by studying artists such as Patsy Cline, Trisha Yearwood, Kathy Mattea, and Sara Evans. Andrea also blends in lessons from such Blues greats as Etta James and Billie Holliday. Andrea says, "my ideal country song tells a great story, rocks and has a touch of the blues." When a song demands a powerful finish, Andrea can easily deliver with style and confidence.
Several years of experience in competitive dance and Community Theater productions, including the lead role as Annie Warbucks in the musical by the same name, have enhanced her ability to connect with her audience and deliver a great performance.
She can be seen performing at several regional country music shows in Texas, as well as being a regular performer at her home theater, The Texas Opry. Located in Magnolia, Texas, near Houston, The Texas Opry is the second longest running major Country Show in Texas, and former home to Clint Black.
Andrea has just released her first CD Album, entitled On My Own Two Feet. The new CD features 5 original, never before released songs, including songs co-written by such notable songwriters as Kent Blazy and Shelby Keith Kennedy. The title track, On My Own Two Feet has recently received air-play on KTEX 106, and is in regular rotation on their playlist. We are promoting her songs to several southwest regional radio station affiliates (some 84 stations) reporting to the Texas Music Chart network.
Andrea's album is an independent project produced by Paul Martin of Clubhouse Recording. Paul has been a fixture in the Nashville music scene for about 20 years, having been an accomplished musician and Artist on Arista Records, 7 of those years as lead singer for Exile. He has also played with Kathy Mattea, Lorrie Morgan, The Oak Ridge Boys, and most recently, with Steve Wariner. Past producer credits included working with Kathy Mattea and Keith Urban, just to name a couple.
Regional distribution of this new album project has begun, with units now in some Hastings Books and Records locations, in Bryan and College Station, Texas, with plans to expand to several more of the over 150 Hastings locations. Of course, you can always pick up a CD at one of Andrea's live performances and here on this website.
