This is my first album. There are so many people that went into making this possible for me! Thanks Mom and Dad for helping me along the way, encouraging me, and giving me opportunities to develop my singing, you guys are the best!
Thanks to Theresa Kendall and Janeth Ellis, my Choir teachers who pushed me to be better. I have wonderful vocal coaches in Anita Crockett and Renee Grant-Williams, who have shown me the care and feeding of my vocal instrument, I appreciate all that you have taught me and helped me to be better in every way!
A big thank you to Paul Martin who produced this album, and believed in me. Paul, you helped bring out the passion in my music, and got me to focus on becoming a complete Artist, thank you so much Paul! Thanks to all the unbelievable musicians who worked on this album with me, wow you guys were awesome! Just performing in the same room with John Hughey, Bill Cooley, James Mitchell and Chris Kent was amazing! Thanks to outstanding drummer, Marshall Richardson for introducing me to Paul Martin and Brittany Allyn. Brittany, you have a beautiful voice, and are a great writer, and role model for me. A big thank you also to David Parker, Artist, performer, and songwriter extraordinaire, who wrote Forgiven and Free, the amazing gospel song on this project, in which he also sings on this Duet number.
Finally, thanks to all of the various theatre/Opry owners who have allowed me to perform all over South and East Texas, Cookie Douglas of the Texas Opry, Jimmy Wheeler and the Back Porch Bunch band; Bobby Reed of the Lake Theater, Tommy Ward and the Hello Texas Band; Nancy Ivy of the Gladewater Opry; Debbie Mayes of the Ogden Country Jubilee, and thanks, M.A. Sterling of Brazos Valley Troupe, and Randy Wilson, Artistic Director of The Theatre Company of Bryan for casting me as Annie in Annie Warbucks. You helped me to develop my confidence and stage presence.
I Love you all so much
.. Andrea |
