We are also doing some collaborative songwriting, and working on a project and material for my next album, scheduled for Spring 2007 release”, said Young. Joining the group is Kevin Carter, well-known expert Country fiddler, who has played The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville with Gene Watson, has also played with Johnny Bush, and all over Nashville, Branson, Missouri, and Texas. “This is a great opportunity to be able to play in front of my hometown fans”, says Young, who is from Bryan, Texas, and a Sophomore at Bryan High School, as well as a BIG Aggie fan! She plans to perform her new single, “If Leavin’ Leaves You Lonely”, (currently in rotation on several Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana radio stations), as well as other original songs from her new album, and several classic and Country favorites.
